Around Town: Leather Jacket Vibes & New Hair

Saturday was a blast! And for once, I didn't spend it at home working on things for school.

As an officer for the Psychology Honors Society club, I'm required to attend all of the meetings, events, and conferences. This weekend, I got the chance to go to the "Our Bodies" exhibit in West Palm! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the exhibition itself, but it was fascinating.

I chose to wear a brown leather jacket, my go-to Keds, a plain pink tee and ripped jeans. I accessorized with my favorite pair of earrings, and a turquoise necklace by Katie from Befitting Beads. My outfit details are listed in ShopStyle here:

I also got the chance to sport my new hair-do! I decided that I had enough with highlights, they were damaging my hair beyond belief. My hair not only needed an update, but I was in desperate need of a hair makeover. As always, my stylist and I had a hilarious conversation about Joe Biden memes, we also obsessed over bulldogs and chatted about why Pinterest DIY's were ridiculously crazy to re-create. It was a successful 2-3 hours and Jessica did an amazing job on my hair!

After the exhibit, I went to City Place to catch lunch with my dad at the Mellow Mushroom. He opted for a pizza, and I had an avocado sub.

We walked around City Place before returning home. We had a beautiful sunny day and it was nice to explore Downton for a couple hours! Once I got home, I was back to work.

I'm in the process of transferring out of my current school (and potentially out of Florida entirely). I forgot how obnoxious the college search was, but I'm extremely excited about moving to a brand new city! Right now, I'm set on a few schools up north. The majority of these schools are in Boston as I'm hoping that I'll be able to complete my Bachelors and eventually get into a Masters program there!

Well, that's all for today's post! I hope that you all had a fabulous weekend.
